We are ecstatic to bring you news of the first gameplay build accompanying the third update on our development progress.

In this update, we’ve focused on polishing over existing systems and implementing new ones, being focused on establishing a good base gameplay loop to continue the platform forward with.

There is so much we are planning to add, change and improve and this beginning accomplishment marks the start of our commitment to do more! We are beginning this pre-alpha journey with a public build for all Hare-Binger Harvest fans to get a tangible proof of concept. This is In hopes of attaining new community support to increase production and development of Hare-Binger Harvest.

New content will begin to be released in patreon subscriber exclusive builds featuring the new additions to gameplay!

Although not perfect, Alot of preparation has gone into preparing this pre-alpha build. Here’s the highlights of what’s been happening:

New Features:

• Bunny Head Hair - Gives Bunny random hairstyle on spawn
• Seed Packet - There are a number of seeds in a packet then when empty packet gets dropped and removed
• Purchase seed packets in store
• Full Gameplay System for loading Pack-N-Ship and selling bulk crop
• New Rake Mechanic - Manually Move the rake on a hole to remove it
• Cursor indicator that changes color based on actions, greatly improves cursor feedback for accuracy and hints for actions

Overhauls:

• Changes to behaviors when planting seeds

• Improve Rake texture and outline
• Camera shake for certain events
• Various improvements to interaction with objects and responsiveness
• Optimization and polish to plant growth - Plant Growth States - Visual Growth state indicators
• Increase bunny speed when she is angry
• Bunny can steal tools from you if you attempt to use them instead of giving her attention.
• Bunny anger indicator when underground
• Added Miles traveled to the game over screen
• Stream line watering can use - Click and hold to use - code cleanup and optimization
• Add Retry/Return to menu after On Game Over Screen
• Pack-N-Ship Box - replacement for the Selling Chute with a new system
• Improvements to bunny mouse over functions and smooth transitioning between interaction states
• 56 bugs smash and passed
